Seniors Stage Song of Bernadette sash As a suitable presentation for the penitential season of Lent, Senior-players dramatized The Song of Bernadette. Across the footlights came the inspiring message of Franz Werfel's novel, bringing to life the wonders of the Lourdes apparition. The Lady is there! Bernadette Soubirous fjoanne Montagnel kneels in reverence and awe at the Lourdes' Apparition. Seeing no one, Marie fBernadette Villeneuvej and Jeanne KCarol Wendtj look on in bewilderment as Bemadette prays with Our Lady during the first ap- parition. While his wife CMary Etta Fisherj sits by quietly, Francois Soubirous CSandra Periorj accuses his daughter Bemadette of lying after Marie relates the events that transpired at the grotto. 57
