The activities offered at OLM play an essen- tial role in the realization of this goal. Between Orientation and Graduation, a students has had the spiritual benefit of an annual retreatg seniors enjoy the privilege of this elevating experience away from school and home. On the less seri- ous side of life, Mercians are entertained by such programs as the Freshman Talent Show, Dramacade, and Play Day. And for those whose feet never stop, there are the dances - Dads' and Daughters', Alumnae Ball, and the Junior- Senior Prom. All these activities provide a pleasant and needed diversion from the aca- demic routine of books and study.
