Working unceasingly, the club has provided entertainment for parents and stu- dents and raised necessary funds for improving school facilities. Student Council Sparks Spirit Student Council officers and representatives energetically strove to promote the interests of OLM. Conscientious officers presented a Big Sister program for freshmen, sponsored a sug- gestion box and questionnaire, presided over numerous convocations, and presented for up- perclassmen and post-graduates an annual Christmas holiday event, the Alumnae Ball. Diane Johnson's work in the Civil Air Patrol is acknow- ledged with the presentation of the Student Council's Citizen of the Month Award by Mary Brennan. Lynn Gayney announces the event to the student body. Preparing to distribute Student Council questionnaires to junior home- rooms are: Rosemary Wilhelm, Virginia Stewart, Diane Macunovich Mariellen Ross, and Sue Aldred. 34
