Through Study of the Past Acquaintance with a problem is the first step towards solving it. From the ancient cultures of Greece and Rome, through the rise and fall of autocracy, through the annals of America, his- tory students learn of man's success and failure. Having studied the heritage of our country, government students analyze contemporary problems of society for present awareness and future action.
