I 1 ,F l l 82 Notionol Honor Society On November 30th, twenty-four members of the class of i957 were inducted into the National Honor Society. The ceremony was conducted by Mercy College students who had previously received the honor them- selves. The National Honor Society pledge was adminis- tered, and the inductees were then invested individually with the gold cord which symbolizes the National Honor Society. This organization is designed to honor those stu- dents who have given the best evidences of combined Scholarship, Leadership, Character, and Service. A total of seventeen per cent of each graduating class may be received into the Society. Mercy College students, Sharon Greene, Nancy Gencur, Patricia Francis, Reagan, and Carol Verreau, former members of the National Honor Society at O.L.M. assisted at the induction of members. FIRST ROW: Maureen McGarrigle, Agnes White, Margaret Ann Cooley, Donna lee, Helen Schlachter, Patricia Wiethoff, Jean Marie Reid, Gloria Pattock.
