Plodding slowly at first through the mysteries of declension and syntax, the Freshmen ardently anticipate the more interesting Latin I I study of Caesar and his well-known Gallic Wars. Having mastered the commentaries of the famous Roman, the girls proceed to ad- vanced classes in Cicero, eager to know the great orator whose court addresses are still remembered and admired.
