Magazine Drive Every girl gets an opportunity to try her hand at Salesmanship when the magazine drive time rolls around. This annual two week drive means stiff competition between home rooms with many attractive prizes being offered for the top salesmen. Money raised from this Student Council event is used for improve- ments throughout the school. First Prize Student Council president Donna Kelly rejoiced with Judy lee as she accepted her first prize of a portable typewriter, and the congratulations of Curtis Publishing Company representative Mr. Edward Kane. Magazine Drive Winners Top-ten in the 100-Club at OLM were istandingj Ruth Geraci-120, Diane St. Germaine, 207, Alice Kane, 'l'I0, Diane Williams, 207, Pat Durkin, 110, Connie Brooks, 123, Eileen Campbell, G7, ikneelingi- Judy Mclaughlin, second prize, Judy Lee, lst prize, Gloria Slavsky, 3rd prize. Quad-High Quad High, an organization consisting of the four Student Councils from Immaculata, University of Detroit, Catholic Central and Our Lady of Mercy, is the only council of its kind in the state of Michigan. The constitu- tion clearly defines its primary aims: to foster better relations among the four schools, to promote interschool spiritual, scholastic, and social activities, and to create a keener field of competition in all lines of activities. Sharon Moreau of Our Lady of Mercy is the Secretary of the organization. Other members from O.L.M. are Donna Kelly, Margaret Ann Cooley, Alice Kane, and Sue Chevallard.
