Through no fault of my own I broke mv arm but nt was fun being waited on I dont look too unhappy do I5 Not to let my brother outdo me I too showed that grammar school didn t phase me See the dlploma 1n my hand rn that snap But educatxon stops yust for the summer and thus wlth B111 startmg h1s senior year I find myself a lowly green freshman at Mercy Oh' those were the days when a date was not a mirage and there was plenty of butter and gas for all but December 7th came along and with lt came war Q 4.1 Q Days were the same that first year Thats a gang of us m front of the audltorlum We were awfully s1lly fVVhat d1d I sayij These last few pages are speclal occaslons Now that film IS so scarce we save it for these times Stlll cuttlng up B111 s dressed up like Hitler m thls snap shot taken when he was a frosh at Holy Cross I wrote dlstractmg letters that year saying we didnt miss him when we really dnd Mom and Dad took these next pictures at the camp our gang went to for several sum mers The camp dlrectors referred to us as those Rochester girls I always hated KP but did plenty of lt July 4th will always be a memory day xn this album You see Blll enlrsted m the Au' Cadets and thats the day he left That picture IS the last we have of him mn CIVVICS but there are yust loads of hmm ID uniform After that great day he was commissioned he got a couple of days leave and surprised the whole famlly by not letting us know We all posed with him the last day he was home I-Ie s our Pm Up Boy -0 -0 4?
