A ssociate Advisor The Gargoyle Society, the dramatic organization at Shady Side, produces every year a play for the students, parents, alumni, and friends of the school. On April 28, under the direction of Mr. Innes and Mr. Mead, the cluh presented The Tempest , written by William Shakespeare. D fret-tor For over thirteen years, The A Cappella Clee Club has taken trips to Florida and W2lShlHgfOI1 to make various broadcasts. But this year because of transportation difficulf ties the Club had to limit its activities to several engagements with the Ellis School. On March 17, a combined concert of the two glee clubs was held at the Ellis School. During March the Clee Clubs sang over WKPA, New Kensington, Pa. Cn April 23, another combined concert was held at the Twentieth Century Club. The section leaders were R. Cooper Bailey, john S. Becker, John H. Dwyer, J. Archibald Jacob, and David J. Fox. The members showed line spirit for staying with the organization when the glory of taking trips was gone. .
