nf SISTER MQRY EILEEN Principal of Our Lady of Mercy Plcademy Sister accepts a Spiritual Bouquet from the Ianuary graduates, ri Q ln September, l957, we extended a welcome to Sister Mary Eileen, the new principal of Our Lady of Mercy Hcademy. Then amidst much speculation we waited for all the drastic changes we expected Sister to inflict upon us. We waited in vain. Weeks passed, and changes did occur which, together with the established rules of Mercy, were so quietly and effectively enforced that our appre- hensions began to disappear. lt was apparent that Sisters wise leadership possessed the quality of justice tempered with mercy. Thus the sincere welcome given to Sister in September has been enriched with sentiments of respect, admiration and appreciation. We speak for all the students of the Hcademy when we say that we are most grateful to Sister for the example and guidance she has given us. lt is our hope that Sister will experience much happiness in successfully fulfilling her plans as principal of OLMH.
