Professor, How Could You? a three act comedy by Anne Coulter Martens, relates the hilarious events resulting from Keats Perry's decision to get married. Keats seeks John Appleby's assistance in finding a suitable wife. Hearing this, Vicky Randolph, one of Professor Keats students, comes to the conclusion, that she, also, will aid. Naturally, Boggins, the butler, also, knows the perfect mate for Keats. During the climax of all thisg Keats, himself, reveals that he is in love with Vicky Randolph, not the three nominees presented by the auxiliary trio. The curtain falls on a very heart-warming scene: John Appleby seeking the hand of Priscilla Morley, his nominee, Boggins proposing marriage to Tootsie Bean, his suggested wife for Keats, and finally Keats Perry leaving to marry Vicky Randolph.
