They proved their ability by bringing up their grades and standing up for what they believe. They proved their school spirit by participating in sports, providing leadership, and by conducting themselves well in class. Class President Ierry Fitzgerald, Vice- President Marcia Newcombe, Secretary Carolyn Davis, and Treasurer Dave Hensel led the sophomore class in having pride and respect for our school. The class representatives for homecom- ing were Tania Ottman and Dave Hensel who showed the spirit of the sophomores. In future years the sophomore class won't remember Lakes just as a place to study and learn, but as a place of friend- ship and self reliance.
