First, Homecoming came and Laura Lilienthal and Bob Schuster were chosen to represent the class at the dance. After cleaning up the gym the day after la tradi- tional freshman jobl the class got together to decorate their car for the game. Then came the initiation for the freshmen: slave day. First they were auctioned off to the seniors and the next day in school they had to obey their masters Elected to guide the freshman class throughout the year were officers Pat Dudash, Presidentg Mike Ioseph, Vice-Presidentg Bob Schuster, Secretaryg and Mary Beth Rouse, Treasurer. As freshman, the students were eligible to participate in Laker sports. They learned many things about being part of a team and set goals for themselves which they hope to reach by the time they are seniors in the faraway year of 1984.
