....... .....,..........-...... ,sr ' L Varsity serves up victor This year's Varsity Volleyball team showed how hard work and skill can really pay off. They kept up a winning tradi- tion by being undefeated in their league, for the third year in a row. Their coach, Mr. Wilgenbush, taught the team how to be prepared to receive both serves and spikes. The season was full of the usual apprehension because when you have been undefeated it seems as though everyone is out to get you. But that didn't discourage the victorious vol- leyball team. The girls went into the playoff with hopes of going all the way and holding up Lakes winning tradition. TOP: Lynn Boyd and Tracy Beadlescomb make a joint effort to block the other team.
