By the way things are going now. it looks as if in a season or two, Good Counsel will again be called ehampion in the traek world. I say again because at one time the name of Good Counsel was honored and feared on both hoard and einder traeks. More than onee the traek team eaptured the title of State Champion . The trophy ease bears testimony to the honor which was heaped upon the Gael speed demons. True. there was a slump in the past few years. but the future looks bright. Yes. sir. the spiked-shoe boys of G. C. are on the way up. and with that Gael fighting spirit in their blood. noth- ing can hold them back. The work done in Madison Square Garden this year has shown a marked improvement over that of the past few seasons. The outdoor season holds great promise for Goaeh John Tomaskois boys. The Pingry Sehool in Elizabeth, lrvington High. and Newark :xt'Llllf'lllf'- among others. will pro' vide powerful competition on the einder tracks of this area.
