Administration In line with the philosophy of the school, members of the administration staff tried to provide an educational program, alive with Christian values, and an environment in which students could meet individual needs. Their task was not easy, however, for in addition to the usual pros and cons, they had to deal with the knotty problems of both finances and a severe winter. Ohio was declared an emergency area because of an energy shortage. As a consequence, businesses and schools were closed down temporarily. The usual allowance of five snow days was changed to fifteen. The festival had to be delayed until March, but when the time came, the school community gathered in a new spirit of home-- coming . It was felt that administration, faculty, and students grew in closeness to each other, as they solved the many problems associated with this difficult period in our history. 1.
