Secretaries Assume Extra Tasks This year's secretarial staff was busy both in business and guidance areas. Typing, filing, running dittos, recording absentees, answering correspondence and telephone calls were all part of the daily routine. New Approaches Favor Learning The former method of one teacher and one book in one classroom for the entire year was set aside in favor of new ideas, new approach- es, and new presentations of religious topics. Although the quarterly system with lectures and discussions frequently underwent revision, the department felt that there was greater emphasis on interest and learning.
