maman yean 1854-1954 We, the twenty-sixth Senior Class of Our Lady of Angels High School, feel privileged to graduate during the first Marian Year in the history of the world. That fact alone makes it impossible for us to forget the year of our graduation. Some of the glory and grace of this year ought to cling to us and penetrate our Characters in such a way that we Will be different from any other class to have graduated, or to be graduated, from Our Lady ofAngels. We have attempted to depict this difference by using as our yearbook theme, uThe Im- maculate Queen of Heaven and Her Angelic Court. Mary, truly, is Queen of Angels. As patroness of our school, she literally rules our earthly court. Just as heavenly angels, like living thoughts, move within a secondls notice from heaven to earth, so, too, shall we, Mary,s would-be angels, within the pages of this yearbook, deliver our Marian Year messages to counselors and courtly figures in general-messages which will complement the world-wide movement to make Mary reign supreme in the hearts of all men.
