Whether it be channel Glee Club,', channel Band, or channel Orchestra, beautiful melodies are bound to be heard. just as your TV sets do not produce good reception without proper antennae, so, too, these or- ganizations would never flourish without the untiring efforts of Sister Carolyn and Sister Charles Louise. Now, let us peek into the lens to see what has been happening over these different channels . . . ACT I- The Glee Club comes into view. Our first appearance was quite a pleasant one, indeed. NWC had the distinguished honor of singing for Archbishop Karl Alter and the members of the Parent- Teachers' Association at a Federation dinner at Hotel Alms. ln December we entertained our own mothers and teachers with a memorable March of the Toys. Four weeks later we were again called upon to complement dramatic and orchestral material in the centenary celebration of the Sisters of St. Francis. Candlelight procession, living Christmas tree, inspirational songs--these constituted only a few of our appearances. Each picture was clear from Thursday, January ll to Monday, january IS, inclusive. As we sang in the March recital, we knew that for many of us it would be our last public ap- pearance for the year. Consequently, we made our final number extra good. And so, the picture is fading . . . another Glee Club is soon leaving O.L.A. halls. We only hope that we have filled your hearts with joy by simply singing.
