FCDREWCDRD Ouachita's insignia, a Lion, is almost synonymous with Ouachita Parish High School, so frequently do we use it in our school life. Our school strives in its activities-scholastic and extra-curricular-to exemplify those qualities associated with the Lion, King of the Iunqle, such as strenqth, daring courage, and determination. For these reasons the staff chose the Lion as the Roarer 1950 theme. ln all its sections the staff has tried to portray as many as possible ot the incidents and features of 1949-1950. 1t presents the Roarer 1950 with the hope that in years to come it Will bring pleasure and Will he indeed a treas- ured book of memories.
