The Lions won four games, lost four, and fought two of them to a tie, one of which was scoreless. The first few games ended with little or no score, but the hard fighting, out-weighed team came back to better themselves against much tougher opposition. Ouachita tangled with AA district cham- pions, Jennings High School, and lost. But in this scheduled home game the Jungle Kings gave the best exhibition of their fine offensive playing for the year. Since the librarian had no trained assistants, she realized that an interested library club could act as publicity agents for homeroom and classroom teachers in that club members would know about the acquisition of new books and be the best patrons of the library. From the beginning the student library assistant has rendered an invaluable service to the school and has proved to be efficient, reliable, and enthusiastic.
