Miss Dorris Creswell, Advisor of Argus News Interesting and informative newspapers have become a tradition at Ottumwa High School through the efforts of Miss Creswell and her staff. Probably no high school newspaper in the state is nearer professional than our own Argus News. This periodic publication is truly a molder of school opinion. There is only one topic of conversation and one leisure time activity in the halls of O.H.S. on days when the Argus News is distributed. We arc indebted to an efficient and industrious staff for excellent coverage of school news, sports, club activi- ties. and pertenent news. Also enjoyable have been the editorials and numerous special features. Even the ad- vertising is well taken care of for our paper. Everyone at Ottumwa High School benefits from the Argus News’ auxiliary activity, the Argus Daily. No advisory period would be complete without the reading of the announcements prepared by the Argus News staff. The students of Ottumwa High School wish to express sincere appreciation to the Argus News for a job well done. Page 23
