FEATURE FOCUS SECTION A CLASS OF '88 OFFICERS : Secretary Jami McClelland, Treasurer Kim Regis, Vice President Chris Emery, President Ronda Reed, Advisor Mrs. M. Glover The Class of '88 finally became seniors! Along with the title of “seniors,” we were also given many responsibilities. They included setting an example for the underclassmen and upholding our standards, which we accepted and achieved with maximum success. During our years at O-E, our class was noted for several stupendous accomplishments. In our junior year, we had the most terrifying haunted house O-E has ever seen at a Novemberfest. Our class was instrumental in establishing a SADD Chapter. We also broke all school records by selling over $36,000 worth of magazines and Christmas items. But our most outstanding accomplishment was our Junior-Senior Prom, The City of Lights.” This was truly a class act. The entrance was a walk-through Arch de Triumph, and the band played in the garden courtyard in front of the Chateau. We can’t forget our glistening waterfall or the sidewalk cafe which provided a cozy French atmosphere for the people to sit and visit. The center of attraction, which lives on in Walkertown, was a lighted, twenty-foot walk-through Eiffel Tower. We wowed all who attended. It was a huge success because every member of our class worked extremely well together. In another respect, newspaper articles and scores do not always reflect the spirit and Terror Pride” that we all possess. Pulling together when we needed to, proved we had these qualities within us even under the worst circumstances. Like our motto says, Today's beautiful moments are Tomorrow’s beautiful memories,” we will always remember our years at O-E because much has happened that we will treasure in the years to come. The Class of 1988 is truly a class with CLASS!! 3

GLOVER EDITOR-IN-CHIEF CLASS OF ’88 The members of the Class of '88 express their appreciation, thanks, and love to their class advisor, Mrs. Mary Beth Glover. In addition to being our class advisor, Mrs. Glover was a special friend during our junior and senior years. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and her leadership brought out the best in every one of us. She will always be a friend long after our graduation when each member of our class has gone in his own direction. Through all her time, effort, and support, we were able to break the school record for magazine sales, have an outstanding prom, and then go on to set another new school record in our Christmas sale. Mrs. Glover, you are the greatest! Thank you for everything!! 2
