W Learn cz Vocation YOCATIONAL training is provided at OTHS in the areas of business education, home economics, agricul- ture and industrial arts. Within each of these areas, specific courses are offered to develop various skills. Business courses include typing. shorthand, sales, record keeping, bookkeeping, office procedure and general business. The home econom- ics program includes both beginning and advanced sewing and cooking. and courses in home management. Woodshop, general metal subjects and mechanical drawing are included in the industrial arts program. Agri- culture is planned to give general in- formation on farm practices as well as actual part-time farm work. In addition, such clubs as Future Teachers, Future Nurses, Future Homemakers and Future Farmers en- able students to gain firsthand knowl- edge in each of these vocational areas. rFOITlOl'l'UXV'S citizen is prepared for a vocation.
