Producer PRINCIPAL MACRA E SHANNON Class of 1956: As you graduate from your school and join the alumni of OTHS, you join those who made the fine reputation your school has long enjoyed. You will be remembered as one of the finest groups of young people ever to attend your school. You leave behind a great reservoir of good will because it has been a pleas- ure to work with you. You will always remember the happy days, the friendships you formed, the sense of accomplishment you shared with your fellow students when you helped in some Pirate success, your first Honor Report, your first big crush - you will also remember the helping hand extended time and again by your teachers. Memories are made of this. If we have been at all successful in our endeavors on your behalf, you take with you more than memories. Although you alone know how well you have prepared yourselves to meet the problems of greater maturity, we know that the members of the Class of 1956 can reflect glory on the school which we serve with pride.
