OCTOBER 2: We finished up last minute details on the Dedication Dance. What a job! It certainly proved that the class can work together. DECEMBER 1: Class rings finally came! The finished constitution was read today in homeroom. Just think, the first class with a written constitution by which to run meetings. All bills were in from the all-school play which we sponsored. A job well-done. with quite a profit! FEBRUARY 28: Basketball awards assembly, It was surprising how many junior boys were on the team, There were a lot out for football too. The girls didn't do so badly as athletic representatives, however-they worked hard in hockey, swimming and basketball. JUNE 12: Report cards and now we're seniors. We've been awfully busy lately especially with the prom. It's over now, but never to be forgotten-an event to be put in this year's memory book along with the bus trip to the football game, the parties and all the new drivers' licenses. I hope next year as seniors we can show as much spirit and ability to get along together to make it the best year yet. These are just a few of the many questions which Jane Crampton always seemed to be asking while she played the perfect role as president of the Y-Teen Club of Ottawa Hills High School this year. The organization consisting of sophomore Junior and senior girls alwavs seemed to haxe a iob to do and better still whether it was a dance party or collection the affair was always a success Miss Sager as the Y Teen faculty sponsor was constantly near at hand supervising all hei yn onderful girls and making suggestions which were accept ed with unforgettable enthusiasm One of the club s biggest social events was the Y Teen dance The Buckboaid Bounce Even the facultx members were in abun dance with Mr Allion presiding as the square if C U-jun, Klub, Ginny DeVilbiss dance caller and Miss Sager overlooking all the proceedings. But having fun was only part of the Y- Teen's goal this year. The club was also re- sponsible for many projects which brought help and entertainment to the needy. Besides giving Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter baskets of food to needy families the club sponsored a party at an orphanage and one it the State Hospital It also made a small contribution to the Meditation Room of the United Nations Building in New York Closing with the good bye pait for the seniors the whole club agreed that it had con tluded a very successful year and that they had really pursued the Y Teen motto for all its members grew in friendship with people of all races religions and nationalities thus growing in the knowledge and loxe of God First Rou Gill Hciipt 'Nlac-Xrthul lLIlIil 1 i n o S iii ion lltinl L Q Qcond Ron ixtoii Hai!
