When the senlors got together the other rught at one of the1r notor1ous Tuesday partles before very long they fell to rem1n1sc1ng Remember the t1me when opened every sentence for almost everyone could enter 1nto the conversatlon w1th a cherlshed memory or two of h1s own Remember the t1me 1n the slxth grade when Iohn n1e Balley rlgged up that water bomb ln a wlndow on the second floor and scored a dlrect h1t on Mrs Harr? By the tlme she arr1ved upstalrs to punlsh h1m however all l1fe had dlsappeared and the culprxt was never apprehended Remember the tunes 1n the lower grades when we used to play socker at noon after school and 1n fact any trme we could? Remember when Ilnny and Dottle used to f1ght over Dave Shaffer and would cry brtter tears 1f they weren t chosen on h1s team? The dog used to take turns one day hnny would be the chosen the next day Dottle Remember 1n the seventh grade when the gxrls and do you remember how mad she was when she came back 1n the room and found everyone yelllng at everyone else? In kmdergarten 1t always seemed that Buddy Stevens and Ronny F1sher were always be1ng put 1n the corner because of conduct unbecomlng two young gentlemen Remember our nap tlmes fthe only t1me when the glrls could gossip wlthout too much 1nterference from the boysl how we loved Mrs Thompson to play the DIQTIOIP Who w1ll ever forget our Pubhc Speakrng As sembly g1ven the year after we h1t the h1gh school? Don Colenback Dave Shaffer and Dave Mebane dressed 1n those I'1d1C1llOUS outf1ts danc 1ng and struttmg around as the Andrew Slsters Clark Freddle and Ioe were W1lly and Lemon and the1r shapely g1rl fnend Pansy I1mmy Ham way was Gorgeous George and Fraser was a bal lerma' Remember Sld and h1s beaut1ful p1ece of sculpture? And Bob Scher as a news commen Y had Just dlscovered how to knock out each other? Mr Ater never knew why Iudy was late to class The answer was slmple We had knocked her out m the lavatory the bell had rung and we had all hurrted back to the room leavlng Iudy qulte alone on the cold t1le floor Remember 1n the thtrd grade when Mrs Ander son went to M9XlCO and brought back for her llttle cherubs Cusl C?l some httle ptggy banks to save our pennles 1n She was our favorlte teacher but MISS Smtth ran a very close second Remember when we had that class party out at Walbndge Park whlch was ln realxty a shower for her s1nce she was to get marrled very soon? Remember how happy she was? We used to get Mrs W1ll1GIHS to make her come up to the oftlce so that she wouldn t 'n the room when we dtscussed our plans for Jarty The meetmgs always ended 1n bedlam tator and how Corky Meckler carr1ed along the show as M C ? Poor Mr Fontatne W1ll he ever recover from our French class?
