Experience, since the school building opened in 1939, has proved their thinking correct. In a recent interview, H. H. Eibling, Super- intendent of Maumee Schools, reported: 'fThe students are more interested in their work, partly because of the more pleasant surroundings and partly because the better daylighting reduces eye fatigue and its re- sultant restlessness. Teachers have noted this, and say that it makes teaching easier. They also report better deportment and better attendance. An interesting feature in the Illaumve High School is the use lj glass partitions between classrooms. It permits transmission of light from one classroom to another-further insuring adequate light.
