AN EIGHT-FIFTEEN English class wakes him completely, if it's not too dull, and he settles down to a day of work. Much time is spent in Miss Margaret Prunty's room looking up word meanings. The motto of her class is If in doubt, go to your dic- tionary. PHYSIC'S CLASS HELPS Gordon to better understand happenings of everyday life. Students feel they have accomplished something even if it takes studying, ex- periments and hours after school. Because of his high scholastic standing, Gordon was one of eight seniors who was selected to try for a KU scholarship. ZW Gordon Bruce and Donna Reinecke. The minimum load will be four solids plus physical education. Those who wish to better utilize their poten- ticulities may take five solids. ACTIVITY PERIODS ARE busy for Donna since she is president of Art club. This also takes many hours of work after school and conferences with Mrs. Barbara Eiehhorn, sponsor. Other officers are Saundra John- son, Carol Bruce, Roger Ward and Mary Harkins. ALTHOUGH IT SOMETIMES proves Greek to her, Donna is taking a Spanish course under Mr Burl Beam.
