THE F F A EMBLEM covered the top half t the program lor the open house on March 4 Agnculture Classes Occupy ew Addztlon 2nd Semester Spendmg approxlmately S20 000 the Board of Educatxon d1rected the burldmg of an add1t1on ln the southwest corner of the h1gh school buxldxng to house the agnculture classes The new bu1ld1ng has an entrance door 12 by 12 feet wh1ch allows the students to make larger projects and repau more farm machmery The blllldlflq 1S eqmpped w1th adequate 115 volt and 230 volt outlets whlch perm1ts the use of arc Welders and metal lathes The agrlculture students made the placement boards necessary to keep tools 1n order and moved rnto the new butldxng the usable equ1pment from the old shop On March 4 the students m the department proudly dl played thetr new classroom and shop to the 140 persons who came to the open house GATHERED AROUND A GAS WELDER at the open house for the new aqnculture workshop and classroom are Leo Mxller Gerald Schnexder Don England and THE NEW AGRICULTURE BUILDING whxch was constructed at a cost of ap proxrately S20 000 was occupred by classes dunng the last part ot the year Cecxl Schnexder f 1 5 5 o 0 o 1 1 1 1 . .S . o l s'.41 A H - T ' .j Q yy, 5 X x 1 7 x 1 - ' x 1 il, 5 ,W
