Swing Kings played the lively theme song, Rock Around the Clock. A program of dancing, baton twirling, instrumental and vocal numbers, and a panto- mime entertained the crowd of junior and senior high school Q, students which filled the gym until it was almost overflowing. Pep Club Cheers Teams :fren On to Man Victories The faithful pep club girls in their new red and white jackets stood behind Ottawa teams during the 1955-56 season cheering and yelling for victory. Seated in their special section in the stands, these girls witnessed all the home games of the thrilling basketball and football seasons. On these occasions the Cyclonettes, led by the cheerleaders, were heard chanting and cheering spirit into the team. During the Lawrence basketball game here, the club had charge of a concession stand at which they sold pop, hot dogs, candy bars, and gum. Choosing the Lawrence game as the out of town tilt to attend, the Cyclonettes returned home, tired but happy after cheering the Cyclones through an exci- ting game on the Lawrence court.
