Classes Hafve Busy Year Earning Mo ne Class leaders for the 1955-56 school year were chosen by the election of capable mem- bers of the sophomore, junior and senior classes. Each candidate was represented be- fore the student body by a fellow classmate who made a speech on the abilities pos- sessed by each office seeker to carry out the duties oi the office for which he was running. By secret ballot the students voted in booths on the various floors and chose the officers to direct the classes through the trials and trib- ulations of the forthcoming school year. Each class presented an original as- sembly in which many members willingly participated. The seniors and juniors gave two night performances of their class plays which were directed by Mrs. IoAnn Cear- foss. Other activities of the class officers in- cluded conducting class meetings and direct- ing money-making projects. The money received by the senior class went toward the senior class trip. Proceeds from the pro- jects tackled by the juniors were used for the 1956 Iunior-Senior banquet, and the sophomores worked towards their banquet which will be given the spring of 1957. 3' THE PRESIDENT Ol' THE IUNIOR CLASS.
