Administration Directs School Increased enrollment and the demand for more classrooms added to the many problems of the admin- istration during the l954-55 school year. Under the leadership of Supt. Henry A. Parker, these problems were solved by adding a part-time teacher and dividing the study hall into two rooms to create an additional classroom to be used by the commercial department as a typing room. Principal Leroy Hood and Vice-Principal Norris Burke, confronted with the problems of the junior and senior high school, aided the students in planning their courses and schedules. Handling the school finances, Harry Cartzdatner, secretary and purchasing agent, bought equipment, including typewriters, a spirit pro- cess duplicator, and a new snowplow. Among the many tasks of Mrs. Vara Scollick, and lVlrs. Norma Wal- burn, secretaries, were the typing ot letters, tests, and announcements and the keeping of records. THE O. H. S. SECRETARIES are busy preparing the yearly reports. Mrs. Vara Scollick looks on while Mrs. Bonnie Storen types a page of information that is being given to her by HARRY L.
