Contest Play On March Z9, 1952, Ottawa Public presented its contest play, Sod , in the Ohio District High School Speech League Contest at Bowling Green. We are proud to say they won first place in this group in the district. They brought home a fine gold cup which is on display in the study hall. The irxwinning gave them the privilege of entering the state tournament at Columbus, Apr il 19. . The members of the cast were: Joyce We isenberger as Sally Barnes John Howe as Jim Barnes Karin Frey as Tessie Barnes Ronald Fessler as Carl Carlson Stage Managers were Ronald Mason and Kenneth Schwab. Miss Frey, Miss Stauffer, and Miss Loar shared the directing, the latter being responsible for the make -up. Compliments of WM. GULKER 8: CO.
