o. Duane Piper did a fine job for the wrestling team this year, and although several of our wrestlers were young and inexperienced, they helped carry the team to many victories. b. Rod Alt pulls down one of his many re-bounds, which helped the boys' basketball team to post a victorious season and win their sectional. c. The 1982-1983 Titan Girls' Basketball Team awaits the results of the opening tip during a tournament game. This season saw the team win their sectional, break 38 school records, and finish the season 17-5. Seniors 3

Titan Pride Shines Through In future years, when looking back on the 1982-1983 school year, all of us will have memories that are special to just ourselves — an extraordinary parly, that special guy or gal, or just being with friends. There were also many experiences shared by all which helped to bring our classes and our school closer together. Freshman year, in many cases, was scary, but also exciting and full of new experiences. A new school, new classmates, and mastering your locker combination seldom proved dull. As sophomore year rolled around, our horizons were broadening past just school life — especially when it became time to get the long-awaited driver's license! Junior year was a busy one. Running the concession stand and building an extra-special and beautiful prom required class unity. And then came the last step — Senior year. Thoughts of college filled our heads, but there was still plenty of time for the events we have looked forward to throughout high school — our last homecoming, our Senior musical, our Senior prom, and graduation with all of the festivities — just to name a few. If you were on a team or in the band, you strove to make this last season one you would never forget. We hope that as you leaf through the 1983 Thunderbolt, now and in years to come, the memories and smiles of yesterday won't seem so far away. a. The 1982 Football Team's enthusiasm and high hopes exemplified the overall strong desire and determination to win felt by all O-G teams this year. b. Hard work and long hours were nothing new to this year's Titan brass. During the 1982 marching band season, their sacrifices and determination paid off. Among the many honors won by the Titan brass this year, was the highly respected and much coveted Grand Champion award at the Ohio State Fair. Congratulations on a job very well done, band-skis! 2 Seniors
