Seniors Make 1983 A Year To Remember The graduating class of 1983 has completed their final year at Ottawa-Glandorf High School. They have made it through all the tough tests, exams, hard work, and have proved that the past four years were not a waste of time. They exchanged senior pictures in November. Later came the selection of announcements, class colors, flower, and song. The production of the senior play “Oklahoma turned out to be a success. Cabaret honored senior band members in their last concert. For their class trip the Seniors went to King's Island. May 22, 1983 brought an end to a year full of many memories. Seniors will never forget all the homecomings, proms, parties, and good times that made their last year their best. Motto: “I am not afraid of tomorrow for I have seen yesterday and I love today. Senior Spirits Support School Activities The Senior Spirits of the 1982-83 school year were: Patty Giesige, Shelly Nordhaus, Annette Fenbert, Jill Schumaker, Cathy Kirkendall, Robin Osting, Jill Schomaeker, Mary Kay Schnipke, Leesa Breece, and Cindy Schroeder. Missing: Ann Wanamaker. Mr. Russel served as advisor to the spirits. They worked to promote school spirit by lettering signs every Wednesday night, sponsoring Spirit Week, and to support all school sponsored activities and events throughout the year. A satellite group enjoyed helping out the spirits. Miss Doty and her students worked to keep the front marquee up to date. Together, it was their responsibility to promote all that is good at OGHS.
