An integral part of the student population is the underclassmen. The Junior Class has concerned itself mainly with making money to finance the Junior-Senior Prom. This enterprising class has held a candy sale, several record hops and have taken on the big job of managing the concession stands at various athletic functions. The Sophomore Class has copped most of the class competition awards this past year. Their float won the homecoming contest and they were awarded the prize for room decoration on color day. This class is trying to get a head start on money-making for the prom next year by sponsoring record hops. The Freshman Class, although just beginning their high school years, has made a good showing for themselves. The class has sponsored a record hop and also held a cake raffle at one of the basketball games. In the cheer contest, sponsored by the cheerleaders, the Freshman took first place.
