“SPOOKY TAVERN Junior Play nSpooky Tavern, a three act play, was presented y the Juniors on November 17, 1944, and directed by their sponsor, Miss Virginia Suddarth The scene of the play is the lobby of Spooky Taverr A violent rainstorm is raging outside Joyce, as a re sult of an innocent attempt to buy Spooky Tavern for the purpose of makingvartea room out of it, finds herself and her frlends involved in ghosts, hatchet murders, dope fiends, and gangsters all in the space of a few hours The final result was a climax and ending that must have surprised the author himself A READY MADE FAIILY Senior Play UA Ready Made Family, a tnree act play was presen by the Seniors on April 15, 1945, ard was directed by their The scene of the play is in the living room of the Nartyn home, about twelve o'clock noon of a day ln summer Agnes Martyn, mother of Bob, Marilee, and Gracie, is plan nlng to marry Mr Henry Turner, who has two children, Sam mle and Doris The cnlldren, in an attempt to break up this marriage, play practical jokes, and have fits, and talk babv tw ddle in order to scare hr Henry Turner out of the family The result was a surprise to the children of both parties as the curtain went down.
