The group held regular meetings each Tuesday morning during the first period. Also the cabinet as well as the committee members had periodical meetings during the noon hour. The members chose the following leaders to guide this organization: ated year Play Hi-Y this President: Wesley Hayes Vice-President: Eugene Harder Secretary: Leonard Folkerts Treasurer: Lavern Mausolf Program Committee Chairman: Fredric Rethe Service Com ittee Chairman: Daniel Brack Publicity Chairman: Willis Brack World Brotherhood Chairman: Raymond Nagel Devotional Chairman: Hans Raum Faculty Sponsor: Mr. Charles E. Peek The group decided to wait until next year to become affili- with the national Hi-Y organization and to concentrate this on building a strong local group. A chili supper with genuine home made chili, a three act presented jointly with the G. R., club parties, andeembined and G.R. meetings were some of the outstanding activities of group. ll 1-

Lavern is always gay and bright- Girls being his main delight. Willis, who is seventeen, Was captain of the football team. Louise Budde is fair and tall And very popular with all. Kathleen led us in a cheer While attending Otis High this year. Raymond Nagel, tall and dark, Is always ready for a lark. Fredric Rothe is quite wise And has sparkling, dark brown eyes. Leonard, who is lots of fun, Never can be quite our done. Daniel's last name is Brack He's more given to action than to talk. Lioba Urban is very shy But always smiles while passing by. Bette in music does excel And draws pictures for the paper as well Howard drives a V-8 car, In friendliness is quite a star. Wendell, known to us as nshadu, Has never a dull moment had. Reinhold, who is very quiet, Was never known to start a riot. Kenneth likes to play But will help you any day.
