'Lua The Art Club has made many beautiful projects during the past year. Oil painting and painting on glass and wood has had the attention of almost all the members. The club met each Wed- nesday after school and in addition to painting pictures, many articles such as trays, bowls, trinket boxes and other small articles have been made. The following students are active members of the art club: Alvina Schlegel, Hans Raum, Wanda Meier, Furl Brack, Virginia De Wald, La Vina Moore, Virginia Scheuerman, Lillian De Wald, and Magdalene Gleissner. Virginia De Wald was elected president of the club: Virginia Scheuerman was chosen as vice-president and Hans Raum was elected to serve as secretary-treasurer. TRWLE 'Q' The Triple O KOn, Otis, Oni Club was organized to pitch the school spirit of Otis Rural High School to a new high. The girls in the organization decided to wear a standard uniform composed of red sweaters and grey skirts, the school colors. The organization has practiced new songs and yells and led the rest of the student body in pep assemblies. The last of December they gave a VLast Chanceu leap year party at which about 50 attended. This is the first organization of its kind in Otis Rural High School. Betty Kerbs and Kathleen Tammen, cheerleaders, were co- presidents, Bette Huenergardt served as secretary and Orpha Glea Schroeder was selected treasurer.
