Stone. Homecoming ICENG AND QUEEN - T. Collins and S. Parker The Homecoming celebration of 1965 was the focal point of the fall's activities. A huge bonfire began the three-day weekend on Thursday evening. The spirit displayed by the cheer- leaders and the crowd spurred the team on to a victory over Mooseheart the following evening. On Friday afternoon, the whole community enjoyed the color- ful class and club floats, which added to the gaiety of the parade. The Chorus float placed firstg F.T.A. and Band float placed secondg and the Junior class placed third. The turnout for the dance on Saturday was tre- mendous. The high point of the evening was the crowning of the 1965 royalty, King Steve Parker and Queen Terry Collins.
