Mr. HiUe demonstrates his cadmium plating equipment which won 1st place at the National Con- vention. Surrounding him are the boys who accompanied him to the Convention. Several awards were presented by the shop department this year. The top Drafting Award went to Robert Smith. The most deserving shop student trophy was received by Steve Simerman. Steve also won 6th in the National Welding Contest. Three other seniors also won trophies for outstanding 4 years participation in shop; they were: Glen Carney, Lew Simerman, and Ken Eisburg. B. Glass, E. Dettmer, and S. Simerman arrange their furniture for the annual shop display. K. Eisburg, R. Miller, M. Johnson, and T. Simpson display their ' prize winning shop projects.
