Knowledge of radioactivity is important today. OSSIAN SCIENCE DEPARTMENT IS Science is, no doubt, one of the most important subjects that can be taken in high school. It begins by teaching the fundamentals in General Science, working on into Biology and finally into the complex chemistry and physics. College bound students should take this complete selection. Our lab is the finest in the county and among the best in the entire state. Such benefits promote the students ' interest in science and will also help later on in college lab work. Although there is an excellent selection of lab equipment, more is being bought all the time so that we may keep up with the changing times. From the grades through into high school, a basic requirement is English. We have many forms of English at Ossian, ranging from Latin, journalism, speech, and basic fundamental Eng- lish. Because of the importance of correct writing and speech in our present world, English should be thoroughly studied by all college or job bound students.
