IIPVW IDAMID The Oracle staff started the year with great en- thusiasm by selling more advertisements to various merchants than had ever been sold before. The Ossian merchants helped to make these bi-montlfly publications possible by purchasing advertisements in alternating issues. An increased school interest in Journalism and the student body's co-operation as a whole aided in this achievement. An added attraction to the paper was the students' opinion poll on various subjects. Work done by the Bear Facts staff in this 25th year is appreciated and remembered by everyone. You'll probably remember first your varied social and extra-curricular activities. The Hi-Y or Sunshine meetings, the wonderful times you had singing in Robed Choir, the fun you had during play rehearsals or putting up dec- orations for the Best Beau Banquet, or the good times you had riding to North Man- chester to play in the band. If you played bas- ketball you'll remember the play you made that won the game. If you watched basketball you'll remember activities and sports, but youill probably remember longer than any- thing else the people you met and the friends you made. All three go together to help you develop a well-rounded personality. Think now and remember, and after these thoughts have passed, others may linger . . . For original class parties they initiated a swimming party and a theater party.
