This goal was to raise enough money for the purchase of band uniforms. The uniforms were first worn at the Ossian-Roanoke game. During the season, the Band performed at ball games, County Tourney, Christmas Program, and rhe Music Festival. The band is proud of their success achieved through constant rehearsing and perseverance. Our achievements were helped greatly through the untiring efforts of the Band Parents and Twirlers Association. From the first grade until graduation we have grown, not only physically but in knowledge as well. We have worked, planned, and laughed together. Production ot this book has been work! Yet, work can be so arranged that it turns into fun. We have enjoyed working together with you in producing the 1955 ORACLE Yes, each one of you has taken part in putting together this book. Sorne gave pictures, others wrote copy, still others helped in small ways which helped the staff produce a better book. We would like to thank the teachers who put up with the interrup- tions of their classes while we took our pictures for the book, also to all the people who gave ads or bought an annual. A special thanks goes to the Taylor Yearbook Co. and their representative, Mr. Gerald Powell, and the R.S.8iM. photographers tor their patience, helpful ideas, and their wonderful cooperation. And last of all we thank you, the students of Ossian High School, for your support. As our theme states we hope you are soon happily . .
