Co-Sponsor The first activity was the get acquainted party with reports from Jean- ette Pavey, Carol Clark, andlirma Rodda , who attended camp. Anna Scheu- mann, Jeanette, and both sponsors attended September luncheon at Marott Hotel. Twenty-four members attended the district convention at Goshen. The ill were remembered. Betty Dull with help of some other junior girls painted Biblical scenes on the front windows. Lighted trees in study hall and in the lawn added to the Christmas cheer. Ins and Outs, with Phyllis Ginzel, Carol Snider, Tom Jesse, Dewight McAfee,Maurice McGee in the cast and Mr. Gerwig as coach, prompted an excellent discussion among the faculty, Hi-Y, and SSS members, Selling Betty Ann mints, contributing to Riley fund and Camp Tecumseh dish fund, a free skating party at Bells with Hi-Y were midwinter activities. Spring brought the Mother-Daughter reception, installation of officers and party for senior girls. On April 7 almost the entire membership attended State Convention at New Haven.

Thus We have a Future I-Iomemake rs of America Club to better fit us for this job. We have 39 members in our club this year and three chapter mothers. Our meetings are held the third Monday of each month at amernber'shome, Some of our outstanding activities have been rough and formal initiation, get acquainted party, Christmas party for our members, friends and Agriculture Club, theater party, talk by Wolf and Dessauer model, at which time the Decatur Chapter was present, talk by displaced person from a foreign country, Agriculture Club will be guests, May breakfast honoring seniors, slumber party at the lake, bake sale and penny supper. Members of our organization attended conventions held at Daleville, Warren and the State Convention held in June at Bloomington.
