In the fall of 1936, the present senior class heard the heavy doors of Ossian High School Close behind of a careless childhood. To be but of those, we know only that with the sutting of those doors inside of our minds had changed. We had grown up. We were piloted during the freshman year by Mr. Pensinger, with passengers. He entertained his them, shutting out the sunshine and clouds sure, there were many long golden days ahead, we were no longer children. We realized that we had changed, not visibly, but something fifty-six Crew with a wiener roast and Halloween party. We selected for our president, EuDora Jane Cotton, vice-president, Wilma Schwartz, secretary, Hubert Pensingerg and treasurer, Homer Hilsmier. In the second year of our journey we changed our names from freshmen to sophomores, and transferred our leadership to Miss Darley, with three passengers less. main vice-president, and Homer Hilsmier, secretary-treasurer. In the fall of l938, we started on our journey as juniors, with than Miss Knull as pilot. She had forty-six passengers. As head of we Chose Lois Parkisoh as president, Wilma Sch '.'.f arte, vice-president, Miller, secretary, and Homer Hilsmier, treasurer. We stopped on our We chose for entertainment a wiener roast and a skating party. Our members for the yetr were Hubert Pensinger, president, Betty White, no other our crew, Dale journey for two skating parties which were enjoyed by all. We entertained the seniors, April 27th with the junior and senior reception at Hotel LaFontaine, Huntington. at After taking a vacation for four months we started our journey once more, never to begin together again. We found our pilot this year to be Mr. Moore, with forty-two passengers. We chose as head of our grew Lois Parkison, president, EuDnr1 Jane Cotton, vice-president, Dale Miller, treasurerg and Wilma Schwartz, secretary. We had a barn party at Yager's, which was enjoyed by all.
