History The Freshman class of nineteen hundred and thirty-eight had an enrollment of seventy-three students, many of whom were from other schools. Many of its students were active in basketball, glee club. and the Sunshine society. Upon entering their Sophomore year the class found they had lost several members and gained two. the enrollment being sixty-three students, Sophomores also entered freely in basketball, glee club, Martha Washington Club, the Hi-Y club, and Sunshine society this year. The class enjoyed two skating parties. Otlicers elected ware Paul Beerman. president: Marceil Derr, vice president: Nellie White. Secretary' treasurer. Miss Elizabeth Henline was the class sponsor.
