Mulvaney. 0-9 61116 The Lettermen's Club began the school year with the election of the following officers: President - Randy Abrahamson, Vice President - Wayne Olson, and Secretary-Treasurer - Jerry Sieg. The lettermen had one large money-making project - a candy sale in November with a profit of 3700, This money and Who's Who? Whitehall's great teamwork earnings from popcorn sales throug out the year is used to finance athletic equipment for our school district, The club finished paying for the football scoreboard, total 31700, and paid the first install- ment on a seven-man Crowther blocking sled for football, Some of the projected plans for the future include new blazers for the lettermen. Che 6115! fff Our Girls You always wanted girls. Now you've got 'effl- Panties for our girls! Our Girls, -a three-act farce comedy, was present- ed by the Osseo-Fairchild seniors, Featured as the girls were Larry Myhre, Wayne Olson, and Bob Krueger, Mr. and Mrs, Lovejoy, played by Karl Idsvoog and Marcia Oftedahl, named their sons Jesse, Francis, and Viv- ian, because Aunt Jessie dislikes boys. Aunt Jessie, Margaret Johnsrud, lived in England, but decided to Visit the Lovejoys in America to bestow some money on Vivian. Each of the girls would inherit 35,000 upon her six- teenth birthday and more at the age of 21. The boys had to keep up the deception by acting as girls during Aunt Iessie's visit. Hulda, the Lovejoy's Swedish maid, knew of the plan but had problems keeping her composure. Ulla Fred- riksson played Hulda, Not in on the family secret were the neighbors, Gretchen Sieg was cast as Mrs, Wattles, Appearing as her children were Jeanine Larson and Kurt Weidler. Members of the O-F GLC are very good at this, The girls also assist Mrs. Lunde in running the library and promoting book week and library week. As a reward for their year of service, the GLC took a trip to Minneapolis to go shopping and attend the Ice F ollies, The highlight of the day was watching Peggy Fleming give a perform ance of the same beauty and grace that won her her Olympic gold medal, 2I
