M1ssJoyce Andree Slack, we produced 'Suddenly It Was May , on April 23 2h 1953 In the month of May we plunged headlong into prom preparations and set the wheels churning for the greatest night May eighth King James layer and Queen Lois Krienke reigned over it and Howard Sturtz and His Swing Kings furnished the music for 'The Loveliest Night Of The Year Our star has now moved into close range and we can read che writing clearly, we find there inscribed the motto uThree Stars Sincerity, Courage and Unselfishness Our final year has come and during the sum mer months we lost Nancg Gregory, who had been with us since her first grade, and so, on Sept 1953, only sixteen climbed the hill Natalie Holman went to Madison in June to Girls State Conference Our firdzgreat day was Sept ll, when we received our class rings We later left for Eau Claire for graduation pictures and happily received them on Nov sixth This, our finalyear, we presented ourlast class play, nCracked Nutts , on Nov 12 13, with lies Phillips and Mrs Olson as our directors I mediately afterward our number was reduced again by the loss of Shirley Jean Schlichter who was married Glenerry Gerth was chosen fa DAR award We ended this eventful year by attending the Ice Follies in St Paul on April 9, l95h, so, here on June 2, l95 , we have at last reached our goal leaving us starry eyed, and we start up the ladder to stardom, step by step, leaving behind us our near and dear friends and precious memo ries of F H S and all it stands for Signed .
